This new home breaks down the key elements of the style – steep gables, white siding with black windows, and simple details – and re – purposes them to create something much more modern. Steep gable rooflines because 3D outlines of the form, like someone drew over the façade with a thick, black sharpie. Black windows pop off the elevations in the form of floating boxes, that enhance the depth and shadow lines at the façade. Simple details are replaced with dark accents of stucco and warm accents of wood. We love how this house presents itself with an energy and attitude all its own.
