Renovation and addition to an existing 1-story house. An accumulation of poor additions in an unremarkable 1950s ranch were undone, along with a second floor addition, to create a cozy and uncluttered modern home to accommodate the lifestyle of a family that transitioned from an urban center to a suburban neighborhood. Enhanced access to nature through expanses of glass and covered entertaining spaces, along with airy and light living spaces, reinforced why they sought such a move in the first place.
